The #1 fan gets a private screening of Snakes on a Plane for 100 people plus free popcorn, soda and Snake kits. I am excited about the snakes kits…. The #1 fan also will receive a plaque, stating that they are the #1 fan. People not in Seattle still should vote!

Not going to SXSW this year, but want to sample some of the bands that are playing?  SXSW has made available to download on their web page, over 750+ full songs of most of the bands that will be playing the concert.

You can download these songs using BitTorrent, a great peer-to-peer alternative to downloading the normal way.  The songs are in .mp3 format, so you can load the songs to your ipod or any another music device that plays mp3’s.

You might have to let it download overnight, because the file is whopping 2.6 gigs!

Now, I am set for the next couple of months listening to new music.

Thinking back from when I was young, I thought I remembered there being a good luck Care Bear with a four leaf clover on its belly.  Low and behold, I did a quick google search and found it.

Now number one on my must have St. Patrick day kitsch item list!

I’m off to see Joseph Arthur at Neumos tonight!  Caught him at The Crocodile a couple months back.

Saw a screening of The Upside of Anger last night.  The movie was surprisingly good… and funny.  Lots of dark humor. Joan Allen is amazing in this film.  Oh yeah, and this movie has Kevin Costner!!!  I give it an 8 out of 10.

Some great albums are coming out this month.  I have been listening to some streaming versions of some online.  Here is what I recommend!
